Hey, I was wondering about Steamworks. A friend of mine who I met on grindr who I have sex with occasionally invited me to come with him. Next, yes, there aren’t a ton of really young guys there. However, each night is different and I find weekends are best for younger guys. I’d say you should try your luck at like midnight on a Friday or Saturday night to see what you find… as for everyone “a lot older than me” can be 5 years or 20.
As for STDs, you are at no more risk (myself and my peers feel) picking up a STD from a guy you play with at Steamworks than anywhere else (finding guys online, on Grindr, at bars, at Starbucks, etc). So protect yourself like always. The guys who go to Steamworks are the same guys who go to bars and Starbucks, so you can know if they’re clean the same way you can know if anyone else is STD-free: ask them. The guys there are no better nor worse than guys you’ll meet anywhere else.
